An individual program designed for art therapists who wish to integrate PhotoTherapy Techniques into their professional practice. During the course, you will have the opportunity to personally experiment, with the guidance of the instructor, the use of Judy Weiser’s 5 techniques.

We will explore the theory behind each technique, discuss specificities, and see how to adapt them to your work context, methods, and target audience.

I will guide you on an individual journey through projective photographs, photos taken in response to an assignment, your current or past photos, and then we will work with images from your family album and self-portraits.

The course is entirely practical, focused on personal experience, and the supervision of your cases.

No specific materials are required to participate in the course; you will be given assignments to complete at home through the collection of photographs, selecting images from your archive, or taking photos in response to different assignments. Photographs may be requested in both digital and print formats.

Sessions will be supported by the Zoom platform, and there is no need for specific computer skills. We will use screen sharing and PowerPoint to collect the photos we will work with.

At the end of the program, a certificate of training in Judy Weiser’s PhotoTherapy Techniques for art therapists will be issued.

Francesca Belgiojoso, psychologist and psychotherapist experienced in using photography in clinical practice, is a recognized authority in teaching techniques developed by Judy Weiser. With years of experience, Francesca has been offering workshops and courses dedicated to exploring the use of photography as a tool for self-awareness.

The individual program is intended for professional and trainee art therapists.

The cost of the 5-session program is €512 (VAT included).

Dates and frequency, whether weekly or bi-weekly, will be arranged based on the availability of the instructor and the art therapist.

Payment can be made via bank transfer or PayPal. The balance can be paid in a single installment, or a deposit of €100 is required, with the balance due at the start of the program.

Cancellation policy

If unable to attend a session, you can cancel the appointment 24 hours in advance without any issues; it will be rescheduled as soon as possible.
