Useful information

Our workshops are designed for therapists of any theoretical orientation interested in transforming their passion for photography into a new tool to enhance their clinical practice.

Our methodology

Small Group

Our courses are designed for groups of 4, 6, or 8 participants, fostering an intimate environment for sharing and discussion. The small group size allows each participant to express themselves and be heard. We believe that this is essential for collaborative learning, offering a unique and valuable experience.

THERAPIST'S PHOTOGRAPHS

In each of our courses, the therapists are invited to work on their own photographs as part of their professional training journey. They will personally experience the emotions and reactions that images can evoke, gaining awareness of the psychological processes involved.

ROLE-PLAY

We alternate frontal lessons with group discussions and experiential moments. Role-play is the best way to learn how to introduce photographs in therapy.

During brief simulations, trainee therapists experience the different techniques by taking turns in the roles of therapist and patient, learning how to conduct the session according to the guidelines provided by the instructor.

In our courses, we foster an atmosphere of trust and collaboration: role-play is conducted in a safe and respectful environment where participants feel comfortable expressing themselves and interacting with others.

SUPERVISION

It is important to base the learning of the use of photographs in therapy on solid clinical foundations, to ensure maximum effectiveness and professionalism in using this tool. We give great importance to discussing your cases and will guide you through targeted supervision to help you find your unique way of integrating photographs, adapting, and customizing the methodologies learned based on your theoretical orientation and adopted working model.

PROFESSIONAL EXCHANGE

We offer an intercultural training experience. Collaborating with therapists from different nationalities and various theoretical orientations provides a professional growth opportunity that allows participants to explore new approaches and expand their knowledge of therapy.
